Can anyone help with info about this audio format ???

I have downloaded a group of audio files that are in MPC file format.
I would ideally like to convert them directly to either AAC or MP3 format.
Has anyone out there had any success in converting MPC's and if so, what software have you used.........

Duff-Man says....have a look at mpc2aiff (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/11299) - that should help you out...from the resulting aiff files you can import into mpc/aac....note that this is just a front-end gui to a unix command line app that you'll need to install as well (via Fink)...oh yeah!
