drives not showing up on desktop

A while ago I disables the showing of a drive's icon on the desktop. I'm pretty sure I did this with a program similar to tinkertools or onyx, but I can't seem to undo it. Does anyone know a program or a way to display stuff like my external hard drive on my desktop? Thank
 
Look in the General pane of Finder's preferences, it lets you choose what's displayed on the desktop.
