Sony HDR-CX350 or Similar

Im looking to purchase a video camera with iMovie / FinalCut Express compatibility and like the look of the Sony HDR-CX350 or possibly the Panasonic HDC-SD700. I'd appreciate any user feedback or experience with these cameras.

Also any other suggestions for a good iMovie friendly camera would be appreciated.
