Hi,Is it possible for to develop or integrate an existing open source custom Codec as a plug-in into iPad?

iOS does not support plugins. You cannot add video formats to the default player, alter Safari or even have pluigins in your own app.

Thanks for the reply. I need information related to media framework. Lets take an mp3 codec, This has to be integrated with media layer of iOS as a plugin. The Apllication layer- whatever it be (default player, safari or my own application) has to decode mp3 songs through integrated plug-in and give essential output.
