How to get mapquest to rotate?

Just got mapquest and it said that the map should rotate now when you turn. Mine doesn't. If i click the diagonal arrow all it does is make my icon disappear.

Anyone know how to use this app?

MapQuest 4 Mobile (AOL) Version 2.3.1

One of the updates is the ability to lock rotating maps to North-up (available in settings).
