Optical drive rattles? is this normal?

Hi had my new 2010 mac pro for a few days, and whenever i watch a dvd or install software the optical/ cd drive rattles, almost like the disc is rubbing? if i lean the machine to the left it seems to stop. I take it this isnt normal? should i call apple?

Anyone else have this rattle / vibration when watching dvd's or installing apps?

yes. it's normal. My drive rattles, too but only at low RPM.

it does not only depend on the drive but mainly on how well the disc is centered. Heavy labels (stickers or thick color layers) can also unbalance the disc.
