Hey all--

I have a 1ghz 12" pbook, 512mb ram, DVD-R

Can anyone tell me how I can back up DVDs? I'd be interested in learning both how I can:

1) copy a DVD I own to my harddrive so I can watch it when traveling without carrying around the disc

2) copy a DVD from my original DVD to a blank DVD-R

is this even possible on the Mac? My wintel friends always brag saying its no problem on their machine, help me out!

Thanks

Peter
