macbook just does not want to go to sleep...

Hi,
I'm not sure if anyone experienced this but since the latest Safari updates, my white MB doesn't sleep anymore, or maybe I'm wrong...I've searched & was instructed to reset SMC. Well, it doesn't work...doesn't sleep even when I close the lid nor my itself.
I need help please.

Thanks for the link. I tested it with no running apps at all, still not working.
