iPod touch is this universal dock a cheap knockoff or actual kind, which would work with remote

In the Question and Answer section:

"Q: can i use these dock cradle with the apple remote control, or is the remote control unit not integrated in the dock?

A: Dear buyer, Thanks for your message.I'm sorry to tell you that this item I sold can't be controled by remote."
