Does exist any firmware or hack for the iPod Classic (2009) that allows to manage it like an UMS player, that is loading the music through the copy and paste and then listening to it browsing the folders from the iPod?
It seems that Rockbox (http://www.rockbox.org/) should to allow it, but I read that it's compatible only with the iPods until 5.5g. Anybody knows why it isn't compatible with the 6th generation?
Do you know alternatives?
