OK so I took my webpage (made by a friend of mine) and made an ebay auction from it .... on ebay all of their text is grey too and I can't figure out how i changed it, if anyone can look through this and figure it out or tell me what to change in my description.

Can't help you there-- I don't know too much about that-- but instead of saying "Makes a Perfect gift" change it to
"Makes a great gift as a backup keyboard or replacement keyboard for the Apple lover in the family."
Just my spare change of sense. It makes it more distinct as an auction.

Have you tried calling ebay?

Even though it was THEIR stuff turning grey? Stuff that you don't have control over?

At least, not supposed to have control over.

The way eBay auctions are set up you cannot include <head> or <body> tags. You have to strip those out, and minimize the code down to your actual content, then put all of your CSS inline and you are set.
