Do you need a FM transmitter, or just a holder with a charger?

You might want to check the iPhone accessories thread. I know you have an ipod classic, but guess not many care about it right now.
I just use a cheapie charger/holder that's like $20.

A few of my friends have used transmitters in the past, and they all seem to be crap. However, Griffin seems to make fairly reliable ones.
I would suggest the iTrip Auto. It's expensive on the site, but I'm sure you can find it on Amazon or Ebay. I' just too lazy to look :D

THIS (http://www.sonycaraudio.co.nz/sony-dsx-s200.html) is not technicly a holder/charger, but it kind of is. i got this for my vauxhall (GM UK subsidiary) Vectra and its ace, its got a little chelf in it that you put your ipod in place of a CD player. it dose Radio as well and can run just about any MP3 player or iDevice you can plug in. iPad has to be plugged into the front USB port, but, my iphone 4, my wifes iPhone (edge) my 120GB Classic, my 1GB Shuffle (1st gen) and my 1GB nano (1st gen) all work in the internal bay briliantly, and the ipad works using the external USB but it wont charge.

I bought the Revolve xeMini Plus charging kit and it has been totally awesome. Not only can it charge my iPod, it also works on my iPhone and let's me charge in the car, at home, from the sun, or from its internal battery. This thing has totally saved my butt more than once. Highly recommended. It doesn't have a holder, but I wouldn't use the holder anyway and it does so many other things.
Anyway, check it out: http://www.revolveusa.com/index.php?p=1_17
