Hey! I have an iMac G3 Summer 2001 model, but what's special about this one is that it was made after 7.17.2002, when Apple switched to CD drives for the iMacs. This particular model has a 600Mhz G3, 640MB of RAM, CD drive (not CD-RW drives like the previous models), it is a Snow model and it runs Jaguar and OS 9. I got the iMac for Christmas 2002. These ones were one of the last G3s made, and because of the newer G4s the G3s didn't sell as many. But, are they rare?

Ah

My wife had that one. She hated that it was a CD-R drive because she couldn't watch movies on it then. The external drive we tried sucked too.

It was a 600 mhz G3. Nice for a Mac of its ilk but, she unloaded it on her sister who eventually got rid of it.
