Bought iPhone at BestBuy w/o protection plan, can I bring it to Apple store?

I bought my 3GS at best buy 2 months ago and Im having serious battery drain issues.

Do I bring it to to the Apple Store for a replacement or Best Buy?

I did not get the best buy replacement plan.

You can go to the Apple Store, you have a 1 year warranty.

A good choice, actually.

You can bring it to the Apple store and they'll look at it for you. And if you want to extend your warranty, you can get AppleCare up until your original warranty expires.

Just take it into Apple, as they are more knowledgeable when it comes to iPhone problems anyway.
