The rebate is deceiving. If you look closely, the $150 does not apply to the 12" iBook but to the powerbooks.

Negative ghost writer, look closer, and they are on there! 12" iBook, and a lot of others...some good deals!

I did look closer. If you actually print out the form (not just going by the link) the 12" 1.2 GHZ model (M9623/LLA) has a $100 rebate NOT $150. The 14" ibooks have the $150.

Only the rare few got the $150 rebate back in early Nov before Amazon pulled the form.

Been thinking about getting 2 14" iBooks (wife and daughter) but wanted to get bluetooth. HOWEVER this rebate sounds great! About $50 less than the Apple Education store plus free shipping plus no sales tax at Amazon (I think). Really wanted to wait until Spring for Tiger but am thinking bout this one. Cheers.

For the record:

$50 rebate for:
eMacs
17" iMacs

$100 rebate for:
20" iMacs
SP 1.8 G5 PowerMacs
12" iBooks

$150 rebate for:
14" iBooks
DP G5 PowerMacs
PowerBooks

The rebate form can be found here.

Happy shopping.
