Does anyone know or have any ideas as to where the new Apple TV will be sold besides apple.com?

Walmart, Best Buy, Target? What about other online sites like Amazon or New Egg?

Thanks.

Not to be mean; but a quick check on Amazon shows it's available for pre-order.

I would also presume Best Buy since Apple seems to buddy up with them often.

Actually I checked Amazon and find nothing but Amazon Auctions Apple TV's.

For retail it will probably only going to be available at Apple stores and most likely Best Buy as well. Other stores might not get it for awhile just like all new Apple products.

The typical round of online stores should have it available pretty close after release though.

It is listed on Amazon currently (Link (http://www.amazon.com/Apple-TV-MC572LL-NEWEST-MODEL/dp/B001FA1NK0)) but it is not being sold and there is no price or ETA listed.

As others have said, Best Buy will probably get them pretty soon after launch, if not on launch day itself.

Regarding Amazon.com, they had it for pre-sale for a week or two after the announcement and then mysteriously took the pre-order off the site. I noticed that about a week ago and thought it was interesting and kind of odd that they would start off with pre-orders, then stop taking them. Maybe they sold out of their first shipment.
