Just wondering...when you sync your Nano, and leave it plugged in...does your screen eventually turn off?
Mine stays on even after the sync with a sync cable picture and the wording "eject before disconnecting"
Which brings me to my next question. All ipods before have been made to hot plug and unplug. Why do I have to eject the 6g??

I don't have to eject mine... are you sure you don't have yours in disk mode?

yup...just checked it to turn it on and synced and then checked it to turn it off and synced as a just in case.
Does your screen eventually go black?

I believe so.
Try restarting it (I think you hold down the sleep and volume up button to do this)?
