iPad rearranging icons by itself

This has happened to my several times. I leave my ipad sitting on my desk or elsewhere and will start to use it again and see that my icons are all rearranged from how I set them up. Anyone know what's causing this or how it can be prevented?

Here is a screenshot of the message I get and all my icons rearranged:
