Making a G4 with OS 10.3 a server?

Hello everyone,

I want to turn a G4 running OS 10.3 into a file server and print server. How can I EASILY do this without spending much $$.

Go to System Preferences > Sharing. There are some things you can use such as File Sharing, Printer Sharing, FTP, etc. Check it out.

We found having a separate drive to the boot drive helped a lot with file sharing.

So our G4 server has a 40gb 'Boot & Apps' drive and a 250gb file drive.
There's nothing in the Users folder ('cept an admin account & a bunch of empty folders).

Setting that drive up with Sharepoints (http://www.hornware.com/sharepoints/) was a doddle...
