I realize that SC 2 is not even a heavy graphic-demanding game, but for my 4 year computer with a desperate need for improvements, it is.
So here, my computer:

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
Monitor max refresh rate of 75 Hertz, (currently at 60)
An awesome color of 32 bits (16 is min currently at 32 which is max)
Max Resolution of 1440 x 900 pix. (currently status at 1280 x 1024)
Processor: AMC anthlon(tm) 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.30 GHz
RAM of 1918 MB
System type: 32 bit OS

So any suggestions that would allow me to play starcraft without killing my computer?
Should I just wait until i buy a new laptop somewhere around this holiday season?
Or should I go upgrades...?
Thanks for your input!

I would try and play it on that setup before you write it off. However, it seems your graphics card doesn't meet the minimum specs for SC2. You might wanna pay ~$50 for a new one that does (just make sure everything's compatible, etc) to hold you over until you get a new computer.
