So i am going to buy the low end Mac pro and as you know comes with a 3x1 ram.
Thing is, my goal in two years is to have 12 gb of ram so i am thinking about buying a 4gb module now and join it in the first slot of my new machine and inf the future add the 2 modules missing when the price comes down.
Will i lose triple channel or it will use triplle channel for 1gb and join the remain ram? How does this work?
