Hey guys,

So I have my iPod on the same email account as the mail app on my macbook pro and I've had a major gripe with how it's set up...if I receive the email initially on my iPod, I'm unable to get a copy in the mail app on my macbook, is there any way to circumvent this?

Thanks

(yes I already tried searching for a solution)

What mail app are you using? I have a gmail account and have no problems retrieving them on my Windows 7 PC if I have read them on my iPod Touch first. I am not an internet expert, but doesn't this have to do with the way you have your email account set up to retrieve and store emails -- POP or IMAP?

It's POP (my school's email service), and I really don't understand why both mail apps just won't fetch the copy from the server. I'm just running apple's email app on the ipod and I'm running apple's basic email app on OSX. I'm totally stumped...
