Canon HV30 and MBP... Need Help!

I have a MBP with no firewire connection, and a HV30 that needs firewire to import footage. So, how do I go about getting footage from the camera to my computer? USB does not work with HDV... Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

You need a computer (Windows, Mac OS X or Linux) with Firewire, other options would be using a video capture device, but that would only result in SD footage, despite the recorder's ability to record in HD.
