Hi.

I was running panther, 10.3.3, and wanted to upgrade to 10.3.7. Well, During the update, my battery went dead.

So now I am having a problem here. When I boot my iBook G4, after a little bit of loading I get the commonly known as the kernel panic screen that says "Please restart your computer."

I tried going into single user and running fcsk, and that didn't work.

This iBook belongs to my school, so I don't have a panther disk.

I am fairly new to macs so, I tried what little I know.

Any ideas for helping me out?
Thanks
DJ

If it belongs to your school... I would just bring it to there comm department and see if they can fix it.
