I got given a jailbroken iphone today and i resetted on the way home - cus i needed to delete all the contacts and stuff but now it got frozen and it's not working at all!! =(

i connected it to my laptop and my latptop is not even detecting it!!

Please please help, i am really desperate! =(

If I can't do anything by myself, then would it be a problem to take it to the mobile shop to get it fixed? i mean it was jailbroken before it got frozen and jailbreaking IS illegal isn' it? =(

Tips for a jailbroken iphone:

  • You never reset from the iphone.
  • You don't restore (unless it's an emergency), because you'll lose your jailbreak and unlock
  • You don't upgrade your OS
  • You always ask advice on the forums when you mess with the OS or try to erase something

Jailbreaking isn't illegal, the library of congress posted a DMCA exemption specifically for jailbreaking.
