I'm planning on getting two of this samsung monitor.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+23%22+LED+Monitor+-+Black/Gray/9777681.p?skuId=9777681&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=9777681&ref=06&loc=01&id=1218172811948

The main connection out of the monitor is DVi. So I'm assuming I need to buy Apple's Mini Display Port to DVI Adpater, which is this link. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB570Z/A?n=cable_adapter&fnode=MTY1NDA5OQ&mco=MTA4MzU1NTE&s=topSellers

Also assuming I'd need to buy two of them since I'll have two samsung monitors. $60 seems expensive just to be able to hook up dual monitors. Is all this correct? Is there a cheaper way?

Just buy this from monoprice. mono price mini display port to dvi (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10428&cs_id=1042802&p_id=5106&seq=1&format=2)

It's only $7.31 each when you buy two.

Awesome! Thanks. I also realized that I only need one since the mac pro has one DVi input on the back.
