Transparent dock (removing)

I want to remove transparent dock because i want to upgrade to 10.3.7. I heard that their could be some problems with transparent dock and the update so i fig. i should get rid of it and then update it.

Hows the best way to do this.
1. how should i reset the dock, if i unstall w/o reseting will it it update the dock to normal or should i reset from with in the program
2. should i just drag the folder to the trash or do a search get rid of everything that comes up?


I did a search and this is what came up....
transparent dock (icon)
com.freerangemac.transparentdock.plist
TransparentDock 2.2 (folder)
TransparentDock (folder)

Should i select all in the search result and put it in the trash and empty the can.....
I don't feel like screwing up my "baby" (my pb) i don't have the time/patience to re-install everything....
What the best way to get rid of transparent dock?

Also should i un-install Konfabulator?

i'm using transparent dock and 10.3.7 and it works fine. =)
