Hey,

I've have an iPod which is synced to a mac (hfs formatted hard drive). But now I'm traveling for a year and I want to use it on my netbook.

So is there software with which I can connect my ipod to my windows 7 netbook, sync the songs to itunes. And restore the ipod to FAT32 (so I can sync everything from my windows netbook).

I would prefer something like pod to mac (but then for windows).

Applications to get songs of iPod (http://superbunker.com/resources/get-music-off-your-ipod/), SharePod is recommended.
Then use the 7-day trial of MacDrive (http://www.mediafour.com/macdrive) to be able to read the HFS+ partition in Windows I haven't tried that, but it might work. After that you can format your iPod to FAT32 and copy the music back.
