Europe, 30 September 2010 — NAVV iPhone Navigation Application, a story ensues...

Educated individuals whom chose to explore a path less followed primarily inspire NAVV. Their product is essentially the culmination of every traveler’s life experiences. To harness the complexity of new experiences, synthesize and collate them into a solution which facilitates the world community at large is the foundation for their existence.

Inspiration for their software stems from many places; however a large influence is students traveling on study abroad in Europe. These students are young with passion and rich in experience. After consulting with many who have traveled throughout The Mediterranean, Greater Scandinavia, Apennine, The Iberian Peninsula, as well as other picturesque locations unfrequented by run-of-the-mill university students it was clearly a reconfirmation of their initial assumptions. While trekking to a new city each week, a new country each month, the students experienced many average travelers head-scratching moments. These included ‘where am I?’ dilemmas accompanied by following poor directions explained in inaudible gestures or a foreign tongue. In this traveler’s qualm, NAVV saw opportunity. An undertaking to provide a navigation and orientation solution to the international community was agreed upon by the established personnel. As you may see, becoming the mobile application provider NAVV is today was a natural progression. With a hunger for appeasing all users whom are willing to attempt a born entrant, today, NAVV hits the ground running.

Within 10hrs of launching, NAVV has achieved #1 top paid navigation app in Italy, Portugal, Norway...

Has anyone test-driven the application? Would you share with the community your experience?

Discussion and criticism (positive or negative) is encouraged as it can help us learn consumer demands and market preferences.

NAVV has chosen to remain in countries where the most complete support can be achieved (Europe). We believe doing business in markets where our knowledge base is sound and can be leveraged is simple and efficient. Naturally, we would like further expand our product line to cater to all potential customers.

This is funny. You're a Nav company advertising a program on a forum in a country you don't support. Are you lost?

What a joke. That's just a NDrive which has disappeared from App Store leaving all his customers without updates and with broken promises!!!

DON'T BUY !

I agree with previous poster, I purchased NDrive and they've basically shafted all of their existing customers. No updates, they're no longer on the App Store now, they come back as Mappy in France and now they're claiming to be NavV. They seem to have a multiple personality disorder and all they seem to do is take your money and run and fail to provide any updates to existing customers.

If you purchased their NDrive app and you upgrade your iPhone or replace it you now lose the app with no way of getting it back. NDrive's customer service sucks and will not refund your money, so they rob you of your hard earned cash! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Avoid like the plague!

AppStores B.V., NAVV’s mother company, has entered into a commercial agreement with NDrive. This agreement warrants licensing of their software. Stipulations of the contract include that ‘NAVV is an application brand which is powered by NDrive’.

Considering our organization is distinctively unassociated with NDrive, NAVV stands autonomous and unaccountable for any issues concerning their customer base and prior affiliations.

If you have doubts or problems concerning NDrive and their software please contact them through the appropriate channel.

Your problem, lies in items 1-3 below:

1: has entered into a commercial agreement with NDrive.
2: ‘NAVV is an application brand which is powered by NDrive’.
3: Considering our organization is distinctively unassociated with NDrive Huh? You sound confused, but fortunately we are not.

1 + 2 /= 3

Back in the 70's we had these guys on 42nd St. who used to draw crowds by manipulating a pea under three shells. The sucker in the crowd used to lay down his money on the shell he thought had the pea. Ever seen that?

At NAVV, we don't have anything to hide, it's a simple business transaction between two companies who believe a sound licensing strategy allows licensees to unlock the full commercial potential of their brands.

Additionally, I would like to reiterate that if anyone has issues concerning NDrive and their products to please contact their customer support accordingly.

I for one will not be purchasing NAVV just as I will not be giving NDrive any more of my business in the future, as I know what they do to their customer base. If NDrive shaft they're existing customer base as they have, then they'll probably do the same with NAVV and support will disappear very quickly in the same manner, leaving NAVV customers with no further updates and probably apps being pulled from the AppStore. Then if you hard reset your iPhone or upgrade your iPhone then you are royally screwed as you can no longer download the app again.

I'd rather much prefer going with a more reputable navigation provider than a fly by night company that takes your money and runs and then opens up another 'commercial agreement' with another company to shaft more customers.

Good luck NAVV, you'll find out soon how NDrive operate.

I dont like the layout of the NAVV keyboard, it would be better to choose from the "original" kayboard or the iphone "standard" keyboard.

Picked up a copy

Just purchased a copy in USA store. Only 1 comment on marketplace, must be relatively new... Definitely needs some love. Price is right, UI looks good, needs iPhone keyboard (redundant as others have mentioned) Will give a thorough comment and rating after a proper outing.
