Ipad Bricked Urgent Help

hi everyone,

i was trying to get into my ipad but i forgot my password right, so i did a little research and i found that you had to delete a little file, i was wary so i copied it onto my mac. then i deleted it so it turned off and tried to turn it back on again. but it wouldnt go to lock screen. so i opened itunes and did a restore and the restore wouldnt finish so i took the plug out now its dead. so is there anyway i can get this file back on my ipad or am i going to have to bring it to the apple store.

P.S. The file was passwd and is still on my mac thank you very much for all the help

is there also a way by flash the device or something like that, thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply but i was able to fix it by going into DFU mode like you said, loading a .ipsw which contained ios 3.2.2 and did a restore. Sure fixed everything.
