Hey all, little problem I've come across with my current setup.
I have a 2010 27" i7 iMac (latest) which is awesome! Going into it i have a Drobo (External RAID), Apogee Duet (External Sound Card) and an Atlona HD-620 (HDMI 1080p Display Adapter 1440p upscaler).
Everything runs together like a dream, turning my xbox and atlona on automagically switches the display over and turns the sound on. The sound on the mac will carry on playing in xbox mode, but not the other way around.
My question is, can you think of any way i can get the sound going into the mac and coming out of the internal speakers to go into my external sound card? Ideally I would avoid using the analogue outputs of the imac and the atlona due to the reduction in audio quality.
