I sometimes amaze myself by my lack of understanding but this one really baffles me.

I have, or am about to, start a new job that will entail me being away from home for a few days at a time - I have three devices; my trusty G4 desktop, a MacBookpro and an I4 Phone and use my .@me,com accounts on all three, but don't understand how I can make sure that loading down mail on either he G4 or MacBookPro doesn't remove the mails from the server, but allows me to keep both up to date.

Can anyone help me here? I want to be able to come back from a trip, having used the MBP to send and receive mails and to be able to replicate them on my G4 so that they are 'mirrors' of each other - is this possible?

The IMAP email accounts used by MobileMe keep copies of everything on the server as long as the mail is in server mailboxes. Some clients will not put sent items in such boxes, so CC or BCC each sent mail to yourself and you should be sorted.

At present you should be able to see the same email messages in your in box on both computers and on www.me.com.
