A strange one this .
When I switch on my mini I get the chimes so I know the speaker works . Music plays via my headphones when plugged in but when I remove them i get nothing . This means the socket works but maybe a fault on the audio board . I did have a red glow coming out of the socket but not since I took it apart .
I have tried re-setting , opening the machine and removing the card etc but still the same . I can buy and fit another board but thought I would ask if anybody has any ideas .
As a point of note when I look into preferences / sound / output all I can see is headphones whether they are plugged in or not .
Any thoughts?
