im thinking of getting a 12" iBook but i want it to have the full 1.25GB of RAM. if i decide to get it from the apple store, it costs another 420 pounds.
if i get it from Crucial UK, it costs another 250 pounds. im not sure which one i should go for. the one from apple is more expensive but obviously, apple will install it for you. if i get it from crucial, it wont be installed and im not sure if its easy to install extra memory in an ibook. is it easy to do so?
which choice should i go for?
1. buy from Apple as an add-on and have apple install it for 420 pounds
2. buy ibook from Apple(256MB RAM) and buy extra 1GB ram from crucial UK for 250 pounds and install it myself(is it easy???)
