Casing on G4 17" Powerbook

The catch on the aluminum casing on my Powerbook seems to have given up the ghost - now it won't stay shut. Apart from a large rubber band or string is there anything i can do?

The catch works by magnet. It is possible it has just stuck. If you gat a paper clip to pull it down to free it....
