I am hoping I can get some help. Sorry in advance if this has been discussed before. I will try to post things out in a simple format. I am hoping to be able to watch movies on both my iPod Touch and my Apple TV with good quality for both.

Hardware
1. Windows 7 Pentium(R) dual-core CPU E5400 @ 2.70 GHz RAM 4.00 GB 64 bit operating system
2. iPod Touch 4th gen
3. new Apple TV.

Software
1. Handbrake
2. Xilisoft 6.0

Issues
1. iTunes
a. Video is choppy(when I make iTunes ¼ of my screen no more choppy video)
b. Audio sync problems(which I believe is my rip settings)
c. Video quality is poor(when I make iTunes ¼ of my screen no more choppy video and quality improves)
2. Apple TV
a. Long buff times when loading from iTunes.
b. Choppy video when loading from iTunes.
c. Video quality is poor
d. Picture is much smaller than TV screen.
3. iPod Touch (no issues)

Questions
1. How do I correct the choppy video issues within iTunes on large screen versions?
2. Is the audio sync and picture quality a rip settings issue?
3. Is the long buff for Apple TV a WiFi issue?
4. Does Apple TV just mimic how things are played inside iTunes?
5. What are the best settings for either Handbrake or Xilisoft to rip movies to put into iTunes?

Please understand I am rather novice when it comes to these things. Thank you in advance for you assistance and your patience. Please let me know if more information is needed.

Also what would be a good suggestion for ripping software for Windows.
