Faulty GeForce 8800GT ?

I have a 2008 Mac Pro with an NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT, it's connected to two 28" Hanns.G HG281 monitors (each running at 1920x1200). At first glance the pictures on both monitors look fine, however on closer inspection you can see random white "speckling" in vertical lines on both monitors.

Has anybody had any similar problems? Thanks in advance. :)

8800 GTs are notorious for overheating – I'd guess your card is starting to go. You can replace it, bake it, or do nothing at all. :)
