I just wanted to tell everyone about a little utility called Broadband Optimizer. If you have a broadband internet connection (cable modem/dsl) and OS X, this utility is a must. I've seen a huge drop in my page loading times, just from installing this utility in Jaguar.

The file can be found here:
http://www.enigmarelle.com/sw/BroadbandOptimizer/

I didn't do any benchmarks, so if anyone can give before and after times for loading a page, it would be appreciated. Also, I'd like to hear comments on people currently using it.

Thanks,
Draft

i gave this app a try in 10.1.5, and didn't find any speed improvements to my connection. Now, after installin jag, i found a huge speed boost on my connection.. So i don't think i'll be needing this app :)

i've tried it about 3 months ago. but unless it's got a much simpler installation now, i'm too lazy to mess around with it.

I just tried it... easy to "install"... but it didnt make any difference on bandwidth speed tests.

you only have to move the folder into the startupitmes folder then thats it, its not hard, and it works ok, its a small boost
