I am happy to see Apple's success in the IT field. I guess to me this award shows, that the IT community is seriously looking at Apple products and considering them as alternatives.
Apple OS is amazing, and their hardware is high quality as well. I hope that we will see this trend continuing in the future and that Apple will be awarded for such things in the future as well.

Apple own music store is a prime example of the strength of the Apple server technology. Even here their music is helping their enterprise advancement.

True--iTMS is huge, and it runs off of Xserves (plus Mac systems and Apple software the labels must use on the encoding end). Apple announced that, but remarkably little has been made of the fact since, either by Apple or by the press.

Good question. I'm sure there are lots of components involved--and WebObjects is at least one of them: the iTMS Link Maker uses WO.
