Is there an easy way to get a screen shot in World of Warcraft? There used to be an easy way to do a screen capture with OS 9, but it doesn't seem to work with OSX. Thanks!

My bad, someone already asked the same question. It's funny, I've been wondering for about a month and I always look in here and there's nothing. So I didn't think today would be any different. Hmmm
There's some key combination that apparently takes a picture (when I tried it, it seemed to freeze the motion for a split second), but I never figured out where it stashed the picture, and now I don't remember the keys to press.
A much easier thing to do is to go to window mode (⌘-M) and then take a snapshot (shift-⌘-3 or shift-⌘-4).

F13 takes the screenshot. Then the file is saved in a folder inside the World of Warcraft folder. I think the folder name is 'screenshots'... but i'm not on my mac right now so can't say for sure.
You can also use the osx screen capture commands too, but i don't recommend it unless you need to show something other than the game window.

Can you go to window mode while playing? What is the shortcut for that?

That character that's not showing up is the command key. You press command-M to move between windowed and full-screen mode.

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't realize that the command symbol didn't show up on all browsers.
For those who still can't find it: it's the one on either side of the spacebar (US keyboards, at least). You press it and, while holding it down, press 'M' (don't actually press the shift key, so technically it's command-m).

Just out of curiosity, how did you 'type' the ⌘ symbol? Did you use the 8984 trick, or is there an easier way?

Is it shift-option-something? I would like to know as well.

Isn't there a way to remap the F13 key to some other key on a powerbook?
I'd like to be able to take screenshots 'live" without the added delay of windowed mode switching...
