I may post an utter load of arse compost generally, but I'm not one to start a whole new thread with a big dollop of it. So here's one that goes in the time cube box, a much better site design though. Would have been better if it was xhtml/css, but we can't have everything.
What makes this one good is the extreme effort put into presenting it all.

C'mon, you can do better than that.....
Old Stevo obviously needed a guest vocalist for the "All Dead Rock Show", no one conveniently died, so he went and shot the first singer he could find.... :D

Ahh yes, I've met this guy before when I worked at a Kinko's and he would come in making copies of his booklet. He's been at this for many years, and is crazy as a loon. We had to boot the guy from the store for disturbing the other customers with his insane rants. King has a restraining order against him, but this guy still follows him around in a van with his claim painted down the sides.
Lovely chap.

on the theme of song titles and John Fogarty in your sig.
Up Around The Bend.
If I'd have known he was a proper nutter, I wouldn't have encouraged him.

also, I can't believe your still up posting on this dodgy thread instead of being tucked up with a good book and a Balvenie. I was just reading through the "What's a good book to read before bed?" That thread has much more substance than this tripe. I mean some people are so prolific on here that you have to wonder what else they actually do. Reading books and posting forums are a difficult duo.
This thread was going to be about "A Very Long Engagement" but I copped out and went for the easy sell. I'll be cultured tomorrow.

But I've got some other stuff to do on the web now, then I'll pour a Smirnoff Blue Screwdriver and watch some Simpsons on DVD.

I was THERE that night, and it was NOT Steven King. I know because I asked him to sign a copy of the book "Christine", and he said, and I quote: "Huh? Book? I didn't write no $#%@-inf book. Back off so I can take aim".
It was actually Andy Kaufman. I swear.

That's better, all that christmas cheer has addled your brain.
So from Monday we won't be seeing quite as much of you on the boards then?
...or do you have a forgiving IT dept at work?

Right next to my Mac is my Dull PC for work email, online 24/7.
I guess I could find a little time to do some 'research'... :)

Excellent, I find work to be a distraction from all the really important stuff that's going on.
It's nice that they understand that and give us the opportunity and the tools isn't it?

Oh man...I just thought of a seriously evil Alzheimer's pun. I wonder if, when the folks in my lab named these molecules several years ago, they had this pun in mind.
The molecules we implicate (and many others agree) as the most toxic in Alzheimer's Disease are particulate aggregates of the protein Amyloid Beta. They aren't really big like the plaques and tangles, but smaller. They're oligomers. The lab coined them Amyloid-Derived Diffusible Ligands (ADDLs). It's said like the abbreviation is spelled.
So ADDLs can addle your brain. Wow. I am such a dork.
