Hi

I have a late 2009 Mac Mini with 8GB of OCZ 1333 RAM and an Intel X25-M 160GB SSD. Running 10.6 fully updated and installed from scratch.

I have been getting out of the blue crashes while the system is most of the times idle. Can it be the RAM? It's reported fine as 8GB 1333 DDR under the system info. The Intel SSD runs latest firmware.

This is the log from the last crash which happened a little ago. Can anyone help please?

That is bizarre. I think I'd pop out that ram and put in the ram it came with, run it like that and see what happens. Although "popping out the ram" is not quite easy.

I've got 2 x 2GB of Samsung RAM I was thinking to put back into. I have a feeling is the RAM but I am not sure how to tell. Can anyone make any sense of the logs?

It's probably an issue with the RAM. You can confirm that if you boot up a Linux LiveCD and run Memtest for a day (24 hours) or so.

Thanks. I've run the Apple Hardware Test in extended mode but no errors were found, Also run Rember and Memtest for OSX in single user mode with no errors found!

I've replaced the memory with 4GB 1066Mhz Samsung RAM just to make sure it's not the RAM.

The previously used RAM was 2 x 4GB OCZ 1333Mhz
