In OS9, when something was in the trash and you wanted to put it back to where it had originally been you could 'Apple-Y' it... no matter how long it had been in the trash.

Is there an equivalent keyboard command in Panther?

As far as I know you can not do that. You can 'undo' something you trashed by cmd+z but obviously it will only restore the last file trashed, if you haven't done anything else in finder yet.

That's a big shame -- I miss it. :(

The cmd-z just doesn't cut it in this specific circumstance.

Thought it was nifty & found it very useful... maybe Tiger will restore it? (yeah, right)
