Non-Funtional Brightness & Volume Keys

With the infamous 10.3.6 update, my brightenss and volume keys no longer work. Did this happen to anyone else and how might I fix it?

Why dont you try updating to 10.3.7 and see if it fixes the issue?

yea, i would try updating through software update using the combo updater instead of just the individual 10.3.7 update

I should have mentioned that I did upgrade to 10.3.7, and it was not corrected.

Do they work if you hold down the function key and press the F1,2,3,4 or 5?

If so go into System Preferences and look in the Keyboard and Mouse settings under the keyboard tab for a tickbox about holding down the Fn key.
