It's a highly sophisticated Flash animation that had me in gales of hysterical laughter...

I'm not sure whether you can get a Flash viewer for Win95...

Morning, MacDawg (edit & edesignuk)!

woah! Time warp!!!

It's really nice when my boss says do this and the computer can't do it, but I have to have it done anyway. I do it at home, email it to myself at work and *pray* it goes through all of the firewalls and security and gets back to me. I can't email .zip or anything 'cause it might contain dangerous stuff! Usually I have to burn a CD and bring it in.

Ever try to do graphics with MSPaint in Windows 95??
I begged for access to PaintShop Pro, but to no avail.

I guess as long as they get my results from Photoshop at home, they couldn't care less.

Top of the morning to you too BV

Your easily pleased aren't you?

Strike that, you spend a lot of time on MR, of course you're easily pleased. :D ;)

I heard the track a while back, but the animation is new to me. Mildy diverting... :)

Woof, Woof - DawgI hear ya, Dawg. I use my Mac to do half my work - invention reports, image work for GUI setups, etc. - and they won't buy me one or in any way reimburse for for software for it. But they take the work, and they'd be disappointed if it stopped or got shoddier using the Win2K laptop and zero additional tools they actually provide for me. ;) But at least it isn't Win95.... gasp!

Wow. Can you talk to a few of the people on my staff who routinely complain because they don't all have the latest versions of Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Freehand, and Acrobat Pro loaded on every computer in the department?

Couldn't they at least spring for a decent capacity USB flash drive for you?

Me: Hey boss, how about getting me a flash drive so I can work at home and bring stuff back in?

Boss: Are you crazy? We don't buy cars for grunts like you, much less flashy ones. And just leave a little earlier to miss the traffic and you won't need such a fast car.

Me: Er, no, a USB flash drive.

Boss: What the hell are you trying to spell? U-S-B? What does that spell, left a few letters out didn't you! He, he!

Me: Uh, boss, its portable storage that connects through a Universal Serial Bus.

Boss: If your riding the bus, what the hell do you need a flashy car for?

Me: Never mind... I'll just burn a CD

Boss: Uh, you know we drug test around here... so watch what you're smoking!

In other words BV, my technology challenged boss/company wouldn't know what I'm talking about. We use Windows 95 for God's sake.

Pretty sure it doesn't, but wouldn't matter if it did!

Our boxes don't have a USB connection!
