Man, am I glad I held 125 shares after taking profits.
U.S. blue chips were little changed on Friday, but the Nasdaq gained, boosted by Apple Computer Inc. (NasdaqNM:AAPL - News) and chip-maker Intel Corp. (NasdaqNM:INTC - News) ahead of their earnings next week.
Apple surged 7 percent to $69.30 on hopes that the maker of the popular iPod music device will report good earnings on Wednesday. The stock also benefited from First Albany Capital raising its earnings estimates for the company.
