My 200Gb External Drive refuses to mount, when put in Disk Utility (I'm running 10.2.8 on my Powermac G4) it says Bad B-Tree. Can Disk Warrior fix it? Also, as Tech Tool (the one that comes with Applecare) doesn't find the drive as it isn't mounted. Would/could Disk Warrior find it, or repair it?

I had the same problem with my 250 gig drive. i was able to recover my data with a program called data rescue x. It costs 89 bucks but its well worth it.

Hope this helps.

B tree problems are usually the kind of thing diskwarrior can fix no problem.

Error Below:
Verifying disk "".
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Invalid B-tree node size
The volume needs to be repaired.
Volume check failed.
Verify completed.

So it works with that problem? If so, then sold!

DiskWarrior would probably fix the problem (although it's never guaranteed).

Data Rescue X, would most certainly get your files back, although not repair the disk.
