My guess is that if you cannot find an answer to this question yourself, I wouldn't quite jump into the programmer/developer world.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

Both will suck massively If you don't get an external 1200p display.

Coding needs screen estate above all else.

More info needed:

Do you plan to write a significant proportion of your code on its internal screen, or will you just be doing a bit of editing/surfing on the go and mainly use an external monitor for your work?

Do NOT use an 11.6" screen for the bulk of any work. If this is a main computer and a main monitor, then get the white macbook.
