85W Magsafe 'safe' for MB Air 2010?

Does anyone know if the older 85W power supply for the MBP mid 2010 can be used with the new MB Air ?
I have a spare (latest/smallest version 2010) purchased for my MBP and I'm just wondering if I can use it as a spare safely?

Yes, it will work fine. The power supply is capable of 85 watts. That doesn't mean it puts out 85 watts all the time. It will only put out what is requested of it.

Yep it'll be fine.
Just like PC PSU's the Magsafes will provide whatever wattage is needed upto the maximum they're rated for.
