North Korea has launched an intensive media assault on its latest arch enemy -- the wrong haircut. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4157121.stm)

"...the 'negative effects' of long hair on "human intelligence development", ...long hair 'consumes a great deal of nutrition' and could thus rob the brain of energy."

See – that conclusively proves how truly evil they are...

Wait, after hair has grown it continues to suck energy from our brains, even to the point of increasing consumption with length?

I hope North Koreans don't believe that stuff.

Kinda makes you wonder why some people still believe strongly in socialism/communism... When my government tells me to cut my hair because it's too long, I'll tell them to piss off. Of course, I can do that in this country, but you'd probably be jailed in North Korea for saying that... Of course, my hair isn't that long, so I don't think I'd have a problem...

In most any country, people will believe what their government tells them to believe. With North Korea, there will be fewer to question it, or speak openly against it.

Ah, but they do if you join the military, work for the post office, etc. I don't think telling them to piss off is going to do you any good either...

Well i heard they are down to 2 meals a day most likely a rice cake and glass of tea which doesnt probably grow much hair in the first place. Their populace is malnutritioned but they did manage to build the bomb. Tyranny,Communism at its finest. Another example of a Govt destroying its own people for the sake of that Govt.

I never combed my quite long (for a guy) hair that I had for about 6 months this year, but somehow it stayed smooth enough, if I stayed away from hats. (Which I didn't :D)

Does that mean that they have sucked all of the nutrition out of my brain
and there's nothing left in my head to feed on anymore??

Guess when the crops start dying off it is a warning that the brain tank is low.

Maybe it means that you have a super high subconcious IQ, and your body ditched the hair when it realised that it was sucking away your life force... :p
